Events and wine festivals - Thistle Meadow Winery

Here are some photos taken during the 2004 NC Wine Festival. As you will see, there was a HUGE crowd and the weather was terrific. We would like to thank the many volunteers who helped man our booth this year. Our day at Tanglewood would not have been a success without you!

	Here is a photo of our booth in the opening hours of the 4th Annual NC Wine Festival held in Clemmons, NC on June 12, 2004. Each winery who participated in the festival had a large 20' X 20' tent.

	The festival offered a variety of great live music at the outdoor amphitheater. Lots of experienced festival participants brought their lawn chairs to soak up the sun, wine, and music.

	These folks were having a great time at the Wine Festival - witness the full glasses and big smiles!

	The view from inside our booth. As you can see, we had a great crowd all day, and our pourers and cashier were kept busy! We need to bring more wine next year... we sold out of 19 kinds of wine that day.

	Over two dozen wineries participated in this year's edition of the NC Wine Festival. All wine tasters seemed to have a blast as they floated from booth to booth. Lots of food and craft vendors were also in attendance.

	Two of our booth volunteers, Kenny and Cindy Hamilton. This Winston-Salem couple owns and operates Hamilton Cellar Supply, a winemaking supply house located in the Triad.

	Beth Waddell (R) was the master pourer for the full-bodied red wines during the afternoon. If you entered her realm, we're sure she asked you to try Vieux Chateau du Roi, a silver medal winner at last year's Dixie Classic Fair.

	"Don't look now, folks... another large group of people is headed our way." "Start uncorking and pouring... QUICK!"

We hope to see everyone at next year's festival!
